Top 5 Favorite Nascar Drivers in 2011

NASCAR has been on a roll the last couple years, and many fans are new to the Nascar Racing. Fans enjoy being in the stands live and have discovered that Nascar Race Tickets are readily available. I began watching Nascar racing in 2003 and quickly became a fan of Matt Kenseth, who was at that point driving the #17 Dewalt Ford for Roush Racing. fact that Kenseth was different from the majority of the full time racers, always staying under control, even if another driver may have wrecked him. I was excited that Kenseth won the Champiosnhip that year, even if NASCAR felt the need to modify the point system after that season. #17 Matt Kenseth is a fantastic driver, he is currently racing the number 17 Crown Royal car.

Tony Stewart known as “SMOKE” drives the number 14 Mobile one car, is another favorite. While his attitude couldn’t be more different than Kenneth’s, he really likes to win races. He has dominated in every level of suto racing you can think of. From modifieds, to the Indy 500, to eventual NASCAR champion, Stewart is the man. He has mellowed to a certain degree, as he was known to get into it with the other drivers on & off the tracK. He seems content to let his driving skills do the talking.

Jimmie Johnson had developed into the Tiger Woods of NASCAR Racing. He has driven the #48 Lowes Chevy to an amazing five consecutive Sprint Cup Championships. Not even #43, Richard Petty, managed complete such a task. Jimmie faces a little backlash, as some fans are bored of seeing him victorious. Even the (fans have to give him credit though.

Young gun, Kyle Busch has seperated himself from his brother’s shadow, having a lot of success in number 18 M & M’s car. The thing I love about Kyle is he loves to drive. Kyle has driven in all three races, Nascar Sprint CUP, Nationwide, Camping World Truck series. He has even swept all three Nascar Series in one weekend. He’s strong and young and offers tons of energy and enthusiasm to NASCAR.

The last of my favorite NASCAR drivers is Tony “T Bone” Raines. He currently does not have a sponsor, but the guy is resilient. Despite almost always starting in one of the last positions, he makes the best of it. He generally manages to get everything he can out of the car, even though he does not have the best equipment. It would be really fantastic to this veteran driver get a shot in a sponsored ride in 2011.

The leading merchandise sales of all the Nascar drivers is Dale Earnhardt Jr who drives the #88 National Guard AMP Energy Car. The NASCAR season is off to an amazing start, catch the fever.
